ROLE: DOOR / GATE AUTOMATION ENGINEER

LOCATION:  Based in West Yorkshire, your territory will extend out to the Lancashire area.

** Full UK driving licence needed **

SALARY: Up to £40K depending on experience + benefits, company vehicle, fuel card, mobile phone, uniform, specialist tools, unlimited overtime, bonuses, pension, 28 days holiday, plus one extra day every year, career progression opportunities.

HOURS: Mon – Fri, 37.5-hour week plus O/T

Depending on whether you specialise in the installation or maintenance of Automated Doors/ Gates, you could be responsible for carrying out installations or servicing/repairs on a range of high-quality Automatic Doors and Gate Entry Systems, depending on your skill set.

Working on a variety of projects, both servicing/ installing automatic doors, automatic gates, pedestrian automatic gates, turnstiles, carpark barriers or access control systems, both individually and as part of a team.  Responding to reactive repairs/breakdowns or complete installations.  Fitting gates and posts, digging holes, commissioning electrical wiring and security equipment or just providing friendly technical support to customers. No day is ever the same!

As an experienced Gate Automation Engineer, you will have a strong electro-mechanical background, to be able to fault find and repair auto gates and doors. Ideally you will have a recognised electrical qualification and IPAF licence.  Training will be offered to achieve relevant industry qualifications.
