Revit Technician (Scan-to-BIM / Autodesk)

LOCATION: Office / Home based, depending on your location.  You may be looking for Trainee, Junior or Senior Revit jobs in Tewkesbury, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Worcester, Oxford, Warwickshire, Coventry, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire or surrounding areas.

“Remote working” is also an option.  Finding the right person is more important, so hours and location can be flexible suit you and your needs!

SALARY: up to £45K (depending on experience), company bonuses, benefits, company pension, free parking, flexible approach to working hours, flexibility to work from home, on-going career development.

This is a hands-on role which will be predominantly focused on Revit and Scan to BIM.  Skills would include parametric modelling, family creation and producing BIM compliant models to industry standards with project deadlines. Working closely with other team members and Seniors to achieve department objectives.

You will need:

• An understanding of point cloud datasets and traditional survey data to produce BIM/ Revit models.
• Experience in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD in the surveying sector (desirable)
• At least 18months experience working with Autodesk Revit for Scan-to-BIM.
• Strong communication skills and highly proficient in spoken and written English.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• An ability to work with others in a strong team environment.
• Equal ability to work independently with confidence and not afraid to ask questions and communicate ideas.
• Knowledge of 3D point-clouds and ‘Scan-to-BIM’ workflows.
• Knowledge of measured building surveys and as-built BIM modelling.
• 2D AutoCAD experience creating plans/sections/elevations from point cloud data.
• Initiative, integrity, discipline and motivation.
• Evidence-based project experience.
