This is a permanent, full-time role for an experienced Scenic Project Manager/ Events Project Manager ideally with a background in live events, exhibitions, onsite installations.

SCENIC PROJECT MANAGER – LONDON LIVE EVENTS
LOCATION: Based from the company’s set design workshop, in Borehamwood, North London, near Hertfordshire. Within easy reach of all major road links, a full UK driving licence is essential. SALARY: £35,000 – £42,000 plus benefits, pension, career prospects, flexible approach to working hours, company credit card for expenses.
HOURS: Full Time 40 hours per week. Flexi-time. Occasional weekends/ out-of-hours during busy periods and time off in lieu during quieter times.
As Project Manager, you will be reporting to Head of Set and Staging. There will be a mix of office/ workshop time and travelling to projects across Central London, you will be working as part of a dynamic, team involved in the Design and Scenic Construction of projects for multiple live events, which may include Exhibitions, Large Corporate Events/ Award Shows, Gala Dinners, Live Music Events, Movie Premieres.
Your role will be to successfully manage the co-ordination and commercial aspects of Scenic Design and Construction Projects. You will possess a demonstrable track record of success planning, budgeting, executing and delivering projects on time and to budget. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and strong leadership skills.
It would be beneficial if you had an understanding of live events, scenic construction, building temporary structures, but the most important things are your all-round carpentry, design and technical drawing skills, AutoCAD, draughting skills.
You could be a Stage Technician / Project Manager, confident in all aspects of carpentry, lighting, and on-site construction, able to work accurately and safely to plans. You will take real pride in the quality of your workmanship, still maintain the energy to work at a fast pace to ensure projects are completed on time, to the required standards.
