This is a terrific opportunity to operate a CNC Press Brake or CNC Power Press to manufacturer equipment and other components from fine sheet metal, Stainless Steel, Aluminium and Mild Steel for various industry sectors.

ROLE:   CNC BRAKE PRESS SETTER / POWER PRESS OPERATIVE

SALARY:  £13.00 to £14.00 per hour, plus benefits and incentives. uniform, an allowance for safety shoes, 20 days holiday increasing to 25 days plus BH after completion of a full years’ service.

HOURS:  Mon-Fri permanent, full time.

As a CNC Brake Press Setter / Power Press Operative, you will be working as part of a close-knit team, carrying out all folding activities, reporting to the Production Manager/ Supervisor.

Your primary duties will be TO SET AND OPERATE CNC PRESS BRAKES to ensure that the correct quantity of stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel parts are produced efficiently, to a high standard & within estimated time frames, whilst assisting the Production team in developing ideas to reduce waste and increase efficiency through continual improvement.

As a skilled CNC Sheet Metal Brake Press Operative / Power Press Operative, you will be able to read and understand blueprints/ engineering drawings, ensure health and safety guidelines and ‘standard operating procedures’ are followed.

You will be a highly motivated and experienced CNC Brake Press Setter/ CNC Power Press Operative, with a great work ethic, ensuring production targets are achieved and that the press brakes are operating efficiently through effective communication, motivation & discipline.
